I am often asked: Why house calls?

Because I love people as much as animals. And bringing my practice into your home allows me to get to know you and your pet in a relaxed environment, which offers many advantages that animal hospitals cannot.

The biggest benefit is to your beloved pet, which will not have the cascade of fear and trauma that many animals experience when going to the doc – the CARRIER, the CAR, the CLINIC...OH MY!

My clients are often amazed at how cooperative their pets are when given care at home. That’s because they are more relaxed.

The other important advantage of at-home care is that your pets will avoid the risk of exposure to infectious diseases. This is particularly important for the very old or the very young, or any animal with a weakened immune system.

House calls also help me evaluate your pet’s normal environment, which can provide clues for a diagnosis and allow me to give you advice for keeping them happy and healthy for years to come.
